Here's a couple fun engagement pictures of Ray & Starr (with the dogs of course).  They are getting married September 5th.  It's going to be a fun wedding.

Senior Portraits

I had the privilege of shooting a couple senior pictures around Portland recently.  I had a blast exploring Portland while creating some great shot.  It's amazing the diversity of backgrounds and lighting you can find in a few square blocks. 

Zach and Elysia

Zach and Elysia are a fun couple to hangout with.  Zach just finish his Master of Fine Arts degree from Portland State and Elysia will be starting school again this fall in Kansas City.  They leave next week and we will be sad to see them go.  Zach recently proposed to Elysia by hiding an engagement ring in a pair of couple's mittens.  Way to go Zach and good luck in Kansas City.

andrew + ellyn wedding

I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Andrew and Ellyn, a couple with style. They are both Oregon raised but live in New York. The wedding was held at Andrew's family farm outside of Coburg, a quaint town just north of Eugene.

Ellyn, a recent Public Administration grad from NYU put her skills to work. She handmade invitations complete with a little hand stitched booklet. She found a vintage dress with amazing fabric at a shop in NY and customized it to fit her style.

Andrew and Ellyn wanted to inspire creativity in their guests, so they asked many of them to bring homemade pies to be placed at each table. There's nothing like fresh homemade black berry pie, except black berry pie and then apple pie and then cherry pie. The additional catering was provided by one of my favorites, Cornucopia.
